2. Personal data collected
The marina-riviera.agency website uses active forms to receive user requests. Data collected varies by form:
Contact form: full name, email address, service type, message.
Car-rental request form: full name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred dates, handover location, vehicle category, options, licence duration, driver age, additional notes.
Transport request form: full name, email address, phone number, journey date and time, pick-up location, destination, number of passengers, luggage type, special requirements, additional notes.
Concierge request form: full name, email address, phone number (optional), type of assistance, date, location, request description, indicative budget (optional).
The site also collects technical data automatically (see Technical data section).
3. Form processing provider
The website forms are processed through the third-party service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States). Submitted data is transmitted to Formspree, which forwards it by email to Marina Riviera Services via the configured endpoint (https://formspree.io/f/xvzjgvry).
Formspree may temporarily store submissions in its systems in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Marina Riviera Services receives form submissions by email at the address configured in Formspree.
4. Processing purposes
- Processing and responding to rental, transport, and concierge requests;
- Communicating with and following up on submitted requests;
- Drafting and managing rental agreements where a request proceeds;
- Coordinating with independent providers (authorised Taxi/VTC operators, local providers) within the scope of the requested service;
- Legal and accounting obligations.
5. Legal bases for processing
- Article 6.1.b GDPR — Pre-contractual measures: processing necessary for steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (responding to a rental, transport, or concierge request).
- Article 6.1.c GDPR — Legal obligation: processing necessary for compliance with applicable legal obligations (accounting, tax).
- Article 6.1.f GDPR — Legitimate interest: managing communications and protecting against fraudulent submissions.
6. Recipients of data
Your data may be shared with the following recipients:
- Marina Riviera Services: the data controller receives all form submissions.
- Formspree: technical form-processing provider (see section 3).
- Independent authorised Taxi/VTC operators: solely for the purpose of referral in response to a transport request, information necessary to arrange the journey may be shared with the relevant operator.
- Local concierge providers: information strictly necessary to coordinate your request may be shared with the relevant provider, with your agreement.
Your data is not sold, exchanged, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
7. International transfers
Formspree, Inc. is a US company. Submitting data through the forms involves a transfer to the United States. Formspree declares that it operates within the recognised transfer mechanisms under European data-protection law. See Formspree's privacy policy for applicable details.
8. Retention periods
- Contact requests with no follow-up: 24 months from submission.
- Rental requests that do not proceed: 12 months from submission.
- Active customer files (signed rental agreement): 5 years from the end of the contractual relationship, in accordance with applicable legal obligations.
- Technical hosting server logs: 90 days (standard period set by the hosting provider).
- Data held by Formspree: 60 days from submission, in accordance with the Formspree account settings configured by Marina Riviera Services.
9. Cookies and local storage
The website uses only technical storage necessary for its operation:
- localStorage — language preference: records your language choice (French/English) for site display. No expiry date; cleared when browser storage is deleted.
- localStorage — cookie notice acknowledgement: records the dismissal of the cookie information banner. No expiry date.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are currently used. If analytics tools are added in future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be sought where required.
10. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted via HTTPS to Formspree. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
